Brussels Business Over Breakfast presentation

Fulcra Director Ed Read Cutting was invited by his colleague John Parsons to give a presentation to the relatively new networking group Brussels Business Over Breakfast (BBOB) on 16th June.

The breakfast event held at the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels was entitled

‘Pensions - ugh - boring! Why should I have one and what is the best for me?' A quick (and very exciting!) guided tour of pension saving options

The presentation looked at the pension provided by the Belgian State at the point of retirement; what shortfall someone might have and then focussed on tax deductible savings (in Belgium) for the individual moving on to structures for the self employed.

As always the presentation provoked some good questions and the objective of highlighting the ‘need to plan' was achieved.
